简历 Biography:

Maria Tikhonova lives and creates in Moscow, focusing on documentary photography while taking part in various art photography projects. She has joined group exhibitions and live art performances at multiple venues across Moscow, shortlisted and awarded in numerous international photography competitions. She curates thematic photo shows at local institutions including the State Darwin Museum and Bureau Art Space, and delivers regular photography teaching sessions.

She holds a higher technical diploma in photography and design. To polish her professional skills, she attended multiple training courses and masterclasses instructed by Pavel Smirnov, Sergei Maximshen and Yelena Anosova from SP STUDIO, and completed advanced training in photo journalism at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University. She once worked at DocDocDoc, a documentary photography school based in Saint Petersburg. An avid traveller, she has covered Ural, Karelia, Tunguska, Crimea, the Caucasus, Vladivostok and Xizang. Since 2007, she has served as a full-time photographer at the State Darwin Museum, whose artworks are collected by museums and private institutions in Russia and overseas.

玛丽亚・季霍诺娃（Maria Tikhonova）常驻莫斯科进行摄影创作，主攻纪实摄影，同时持续参与各类摄影艺术项目。她曾在莫斯科多家艺术场馆参与群展与现场艺术表演，多次入围国际摄影赛事并斩获奖项；先后在国立达尔文博物馆、“Bureau” 艺术空间等本地机构策划主题摄影展，同时长期开展摄影教学工作。

她持有摄影与设计专业高等技术学历，为提升专业水平，先后参与多门专业课程与摄影大师班，师从 SP STUDIO 的帕维尔・斯米尔诺夫、谢尔盖・马克西米申、叶莲娜・阿诺索娃，并于莫斯科国立大学新闻系摄影新闻专业完成进阶深造。她曾任职于圣彼得堡纪实摄影学校 “DocDocDoc”。她热爱远行采风，足迹遍布乌拉尔、卡累利阿、通古斯、克里米亚、高加索、符拉迪沃斯托克以及西藏。

自 2007 年起，她担任国立达尔文博物馆专职摄影师，作品被俄罗斯及海外多家博物馆、私人艺术机构收藏。
